PLACES VISITED:
Florence
We will take you on a 3-hour guided walk in the center of Florence, focusing on the great Renaissance artist, with entrance tickets to the Accademia Gallery to admire the David.
Michelangelo Buonarroti was a great sculptor, painter, architect, poet, philosopher, but also an introverted, fussy, miserly, restless man – in short, a brilliant artist with a complex personality. He came to Florence as a young man and it was in this wonderful Tuscan city that his artistic and other training took place. To get to know this artistic genius better, we have organized a walking tour for you with our expert guide who will accompany you through the streets that saw him grow up, live, create and where he was buried. The guided tour also includes entry to the Accademia Gallery (tickets included), where you can get to know the brilliant sculptor even better through his most significant works: The Prisoners, the David called the ‘Giant’ and others. A true immersion in the life and art of the Great Michelangelo.
