Arrival of clients at Venice airport. Transfer by private boat and assistant to the hotel. Meeting with the guide who will help us discover the wonders of the city with a special "lion hunt" for kids. In a fun way, thanks to exciting games, we will reveal to the children the history of the city and its monuments, looking for the symbol par excellence of the city, the lion of San Marco. Afterwards, in the afternoon, we will have fun at creating masks coming from “the commedia dell'arte”, typical of Venice. Not only the children, but also their parents will be able to decorate a papier-mâché mask to their liking, which at the end will become the perfect souvenir of the vacation. But the most exciting moment will be when we will use our magic to bring the masks to life! In fact, a professional actor will wear them, reciting famous pieces from the “commedia dell'arte”, helping you discover the movements, the tone of voice and the gestures of the most famous Venetian masks. At the end of this unforgettable experience, we will walk back to the hotel. Night in Venice.
After breakfast at the hotel, the Venetian guide will entertain us with a half-day walk through the streets and monuments of the city, telling anecdotes and mysteries that only a person born and raised in Venice can know. Riddles along the way will make the visit even more fun. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the prestigious stores and romantic views of the most fascinating city in Italy. Second night in Venice.
In the morning we will experience a the Venetian tradition of rowing. This immersive experience will have us rowing in first person, under the supervision of an expert rower, on a typical "batela", a Venetian boat used to navigate the canals. We will discover the techniques used by local rowers, realizing that rowing is much more complex than it may seem! When we approach lunchtime we will meet with our guide to enjoy the Bacaro Tour: “bacari” are typical local bars/restaurants where a series of snacks, called "cicheti" (included in the rate) are served with a small drink. This local street food, simple and delicious, is made of bread topped with many different ingredients coming from the local genuine products. Afterwards, we will have the most typical and memorable experience in the city, the Gondola ride. We will do it strictly in private and with our guide who will explain the iconic areas of the city, such as Canal Grande, seen from the water. Return to the hotel and third night in Venice.
Welcomed at the hotel by our personal guide, we will travel by private motorboat to Murano to discover the enchanting art of glass making, the most renowned in the world. We will enter an artisan laboratory where we will witness the wonders of glass blowing in one of the most prestigious boutiques, an art that will leave both adults and children speechless. After fully entering the world of Murano glass, we will move to Burano, famous for its lace-making, but especially for its picturesque colorful streets and fascinating canals. Once back in Venice with the private boat, the afternoon will be free to admire the city independently, getting lost in the canals and streets where elegant and unique squares are revealed by surprise.
After checking out at the hotel, an assistant and a private boat will take us back to the airport for final departure.
