Transfer by car with private driver from Florence airport to the hotel. Meeting with the guide at the hotel to start the visit of the cradle of the Italian Renaissance. We will start with one of the main monuments of the city, the Accademia Gallery (tickets included), which houses the famous David by Michelangelo. Then we will discover the most picturesque alleys and squares of the city center with a relaxing walk. Return to hotel, night in Florence.
After breakfast at the hotel a professional guide will take us to discover the main monuments of Florence, such as the Duomo, the Baptistery and Giotto's Bell Tower, the Porcellino Market and the beautiful churches of Santa Croce and Santa Maria Novella. Afterwards we will visit the Uffizi Gallery (tickets included), one of the most famous museums in Italy thanks to the famous works of art it hosts, such as Botticelli's Venus and Spring, Caravaggio's Medusa, Michelangelo's Doni Tondo and Leonardo's Annunciation. In the afternoon, we'll explore the city's artisan boutiques, such as our favorite goldsmith on Pontevecchio, or leather work at the renowned Florentine School of Leather, and the creation of luxurious custom-made shoes. Return to hotel, overnight in Florence.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the wonderful Boboli Gardens, a triumph of the Renaissance and the Italian Garden. We will then re-immerse ourselves in the world of Florentine craftsmanship by taking part in an exciting demonstration in a marbled paper workshop and then visit a spectacular workshop where majestic statues are sculpted from Carrara marble. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.
Check out from the hotel, a private car will take us comfortably to the train station in Florence for our departure.
