Naples, Capri and the Amalfi Coast – The Italian “Dolce Vita”

Arrival of clients at Naples airport in the morning, transfer from the airport to Naples, accommodation at the hotel. You will meet with the guide and begin the guided tour of this amazing city. During your visit you will discover the main iconic monuments, squares and attractions of Naples. You will start the tour from Piazza del Plebiscito with its Royal Palace and the SAN CARLO THEATER, the oldest opera house in Europe. A short walk from the square and you will find yourself in front of the magnificent MASCHIO ANGIOINO, a beautifully preserved medieval castle, and finally you will recharge with the very famous CAFFE' DEL PROFESSORE (included). We will then head to the monumental complex of Santa Chiara and especially to the BAROCCA CAPPELLA SANSEVERO (tickets included) to admire a true masterpiece: THE VEILED CHRIST by Giuseppe Sammartino, an amazing marble sculpture, so perfectly carved that truly looks like a real person. Return to hotel and overnight in Naples.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our guided tour of the wonderful capital of Campania. We will walk through the most lively areas of the city, such as Via Toledo, Galleria Umberto I, Via dei Tribunali, "Spaccanapoli" and Via San Gregorio Armeno with its little markets with Nativity scene figures. For lunch we will stop in one of the best pizzerias in the city where we will enjoy a PIZZA MAKING CLASS learning all the secrets of the most loved Neapolitan dish in the world and at the end we will taste our pizza prepared together with the “pizzaiolo”. The tour will continue with the intriguing discovery of NAPOLI SOTTERRANEA (tickets included), where among incredible anecdotes, narrow underground passages, greenhouses and hidden amphitheatres we will unveil the mysteries of the underground of the city. Final stop will be the DUOMO, the 13th century Gothic cathedral dedicated to the patron saint of Naples, San Gennaro. Night at our hotel in Naples.

With our private car we will move out of Naples where we will give you an unforgettable emotion going to OPEN JUST FOR YOU AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREA with a compelling history. We will be among the first in the world to discover the ancient Roman remains, such as stucco, mosaics and frescoes, which are coming to light in the excavation campaign still in place. Our archaeologist on site will make us live every single corner of the excavation revealing the interesting theories about what were the environments that we are going to admire ... who knows, maybe we can also formulate our own theories about it! With this special experience we would like to give you the opportunity to live in first person the visit of an archaeological site, an IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE that we can not relive anywhere else in the world. Afterwards, with our naturalistic guide we will enjoy a WALK ON MOUNT VESUVIUS with a breathtaking view over Naples and Capri. In the late afternoon we will return to Naples to relax at the hotel.

After breakfast we will leave our hotel in Naples by private car with driver to discover with a professional archaeologist one of the most unique sites in the world: the ruins of the ROMAN CITY OF POMPEII. The emotion we will feel is precisely that of going back in time, walking along the ancient streets of the different districts, entering the city baths with the changing rooms, the calidarium, frigidarium and tepidarium, admiring the huge central square, the forum, with the majestic temples and not far away the most luxurious villas where you can still see the mosaics and frescoes full of colors full of colors. Afterwards we will move to SORRENTO, a delightful village overlooking the sea, an elegant destination for shopping and relaxation. Night in Sorrento.

We will enjoy a free day in Sorrento to relax on the MARVELOUS LOCAL BEACHES. In the afternoon we will stop at a local farm to admire the production of the famous local LEMONS, that at the end of the tour we will taste with DELICIOUS CAKES and liqueurs. Night in Sorrento.

In this spectacular day we will discover the enchanting island of CAPRI with a luxury private boat with skipper, which will make us navigate near the famous FARAGLIONI, to the GROTTA AZZURRA, before docking for a walk in the characteristic villages of the island, where we also recommend to go shopping, especially looking for the typical Capri sandalwood. Return to Sorrento and overnight stay.

After breakfast we will depart with our private car to the Amalfi Coast. Here we will admire the small village of POSITANO, which gently slopes down to the beach with its CHARACTERISTIC COLORED HOUSES. A relaxing walk through its streets will take us to the shore where we will find local craft stores and mesmerizing views. We will then move to the panoramic streets of the coast to get to AMALFI, a historic maritime republic that houses two authentic masterpieces such as the cathedral and the cloister. From Amalfi we'll go up to RAVELLO, a precious gem of the area, with its historic Villa Rufolo and the panoramic Villa Cimbrone whose gardens boast the most fascinating and romantic sea view balcony in Italy, the TERRACE OF INFINITY. At the end of this intense day, return to Sorrento for overnight stay.
