Aromatic persistence and great fruitiness to the palate are the main characteristics of this wine. The color is intense ruby red with violet hues when young and turns to more mature tones, garnet and orange with the aging, which can last even more than 10 years. The pungent tannins which can be perceived when consumed within the first year shift to a pleasing smoothness as time goes by.
