An amazing  gastronomic   4-days itinerary  in  Abruzzo , a region full of old wine traditions and pastarolism.

1° day

Abruzzo cooking class – Discovery the “Trabocchi” Coast with your bike (B/L/-)

Transfer to a local winery nearby the city of Vasto to live an luxury food experience. At 10.30 a.m starts a beautiful lesson of Abruzzo food where you will learn making local dishes like “Pallotte cace e ove”, round-shaped dish made with Pecorino cheese and bread crumb, and “Sagne Appezzate”, a traditional Abruzzo pasta with tomato sauce. A totally feast for your taste buds! After the visit of the winery producers of Montelpulciano, Cerasuolo Superior and Pecorino Superior wine, at lunch you will eat their local products and taste their wines.
In the early afternoon you will discover the mesmerizing “Trabocchi” Coast , a 70 Km coast from Ortona to Punta Aderci. It is a series of coves and cliffs under the hills that ends in the Adriatic sea with its “Trabocchi”. Many coastal countries maintain their characteristic fishing tradition. In Ortona you will rent a bike to cycle in the plain and easy bike path for Punta Cavalluccio. After, with your private car you will reach a winery in the heart of Abruzzo nearby Loreto Aprutino where you will stay in a double room in the middle of their vineyards. Free dinner and overnight .

2° day

A day as a shepherd! (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Farindola to live a close experience with local shepherds . Here, you will enjoy a Pecorino of Farindola cheese making laboratory and taste their products made with the sheep milk like curd, ricotta and cheese. You will have the possibility to savor the traditional shepherd breakfast with Pecorino cheese of Farindola, bread, extra-virgin oil, honey, Montepulciano wine, peppers and eggs, classical Farindola sausages and desserts. In the afternoon you will immerse into the rugged nature of Valle d’Angri, where you will experience the “Transumanza”, the typical walk that shepherds do every year. Then, you will visit the Vitello d’Oro waterfall, Geotritone cave and see the Wildlife area of Chamois. If you are lucky, you can have the possibility to see some of the local fauna, such as chamois in. If you are interested , you can experience the sheep shearing in the local factory. An An activity which is so far away from trivial and mass-market experiences . At the end of the day come back to the hotel and free dinner.

3° day

Loreto Aprutino/ Penne- Pic-nic in the vineyards- departure (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. You can adventure into the narrow streets of the characteristic small villages of Loreto Aprutino and Penne. After you will come back to the winery where you had stayed and have lunch in the vineyards tasting their wines. After lunch come back home. End of the services.
