Sailing Holiday in the beautiful Aeolian Islands

Arrival with self-organised transport to your departure airport (flight quoted on a tailor-made basis, luggage included). Arrival in Catania and transfer with private driver to Portorosa.
Usually the meeting with all the guests of the sailing holiday is by 6.00 p.m. on Saturday at the reception of Marina di Portorosa (boat details are provided at the end of the itinerary).
The guests will proceed to their cabins and take the opportunity to get acquainted with the boat and life on board. The list for the galley (the pantry on a boat) is prepared, in order to meet the needs of the crew and make the experience even more sensational. After filling the pantry, a rich aperitif is served on the boat at sunset.
Dinner is served on the boat by the cook on board or enjoyed in one of the Marina restaurants.

After a rich breakfast, we set sail for the island of Vulcano.
After about 20 miles of navigation, we will reach the northwest side of the island and take a swim in the famous Piscine di Venere (Venus Pools) and then reach Ignuda Bay where we will anchor for lunch.
In the afternoon we will head towards Cala Formaggio where we could also drop anchor for the night. Alternatively, we will reach the Porto di Ponente for the night.

We set sail early in the morning and, passing through the Strait of the Mouths of Vulcano, we will leave the island of Lipari to the west and head towards Panarea. After about 18 miles and the necessary stops for swimming and lunch, perhaps at Capo Rosso, we will arrive in the evening at Scalo Ditella (where we will spend the night at the buoy) in time for a fantastic aperitif on the boat at sunset. In the evening, free to choose between a dinner on the boat, a tour of the island for a glamorous evening
at Banacalii or Lisca Bianca, a trip to Pina's in the centre or to Antonio the Butcher to be spoilt by their cuisine.

We are now in Panarea and cannot avoid reversing our course for a dip in Cala Junco or Caletta degli Zimmari. From here, after lunch, we will head towards Vulcano, 15 miles north-east to land, sea and wind permitting, at Ginostra or alternatively at Fico Grande or Scari. If weather conditions permit, we will make an overnight trip to the Sciara di Fuoco, located on the west side of the island, to admire the nocturnal eruption of Iddu.

If we didn't manage to see Ginostra yesterday, today we will certainly make a couple of edgings in that direction, before setting course for Salina with an expected sail of some twenty-six miles that will take us to Rinella, whose crescent-shaped beach of black sand is topped by caves carved out of the rock that were once used as shelters for fishermen's boats. At the port of Rinella we will spend the night in the harbour or at the buoy camp. Dinner on the boat or at "Le tre pietre".
Alternative: sailing to Santa Marina di Salina and dinner at Cucinotta's or at Tinkitè.

We are in Salina and, depending on where we spent the night, we could head towards Santa Marina or towards Lingua, a small and beautiful fishing village characterised by the presence of a natural brackish water lake. In any case, the fixed rendezvous is the Cala di Pollara where we spend some wonderful hours waiting for our now well-established appointment: an aperitif at sunset, on our boat.

The last stop of our cruise will see us embark on a 30-mile crossing. We will leave Salina to coast Lipari and Vulcano. We will probably drop anchor for a swim and lunch at Punta dei Porci, in the extreme south of the island of Vulcano. Arrival in Portorosa is scheduled for sunset, with an aperitif and dinner on the boat. Disembarkation is scheduled for the following day by 09.30 at the latest.

Disembarkation by 9.30 am and transfer with private driver to Catania airport. Flight, luggage included, to return to your home town.
