Arrival at Milan’s Malpensa airport; private transfer with our driver to reach your hotel in Milan.
Meeting with our guide and driver at hotel lobby in the early afternoon. Enjoy 3 hours of city tour. Welcome to Milan, the financial capital of Italy, sanctuary of fashion design and a Mecca for opera enthusiasts. Underestimated for a long time, the metropolis is, on the contrary, a veritable gem that leaves every visitor stunned and is now experiencing a grand revival.
Unmissable highlight of the visit is the extravagant Cathedral (tickets included) in Gothic style with its pearly white façade and the 135 spires topped by statues of saints. The Duomo never fails to astound its visitors! Last stop of the day is the refectory adjoining the Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie. At first glance it may just seem like a large Dominican dining room, but as you raise your eyes you will be standing in front of one of Leonardo’s masterpieces: the Last Supper. It took 22 years of restoration to bring back its astonishing beauty! A tedious and time-consuming work that was definitely worth the effort. Our tickets will allow you to enter the room with a group but still get on the side and get a private explanation from our guide. Return back to the hotel at the end of the tour.
For your meals you will receive the list of our favorite restaurants.
Breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure. In the early afternoon meet our guide to enjoy a visit of the fashion district for 3 hours, stepping into lesser known boutiques - we would love to show you niche and boutique-style brands, instead of the big and more commercial ones. Final exclusive experience in private at an haute couture atelier. After a brief introduction to their daily work, you will take a closer look at the stages of making the sartorial garment, starting from the sketch. Passing through the cutting (not from industrial bases, but on bases built exclusively on the clients), the trial on vintage mannequins, built on the physical characteristics of the clients, and the handcrafted realization. You will see the seamstresses at work, with the pedal sewing machines of the early 1900s that they used exclusively, with hand stitches, and also see up close the accessories handcrafted by the artisans, such as button makers and belt makers. After this plunge into the past, you will be taken into the future by visiting a special collection with technological fibers; visitors will be able to see up close how tradition and innovation are inextricably linked.
Final cocktail included – total experience lasts 90 minutes.
After breakfast and check out, meet our driver to reach Milan station where a fast train will lead you to Florence. Here we will transfer you to your Florentine hotel where, after leaving your luggage, you will meet our guide to begin a memorable tour of the city of 4 hours. The visit will include the skip the line tickets of the Accademia Gallery, hosting the world famous David by Michelangelo, and the entrance to the Gucci Museum and Boutique, by private appointment, with a person of the Gucci team showing you the rooms hosting the immersive museum and the boutique.
End you day with another stunning experience: we will open for you a private noble house where the two lovely owners will unveil the many treasures of the house, historical symbol of the city for many reasons you will find out on the spot. A final WOW moment will wait for you at the house, during cocktail time that you will enjoy to the fullest.
Morning at leisure and after lunch, meet our driver at 1.30pm to enjoy a fantastic day visiting the Medieval pearls of Siena and San Gimignano.
You will first reach Siena: Florence’s historic arch-enemy shines with well-preserved Gothic architecture, Tuscany's tallest tower and a dazzling Duomo (external visit). The grand highlight is PIAZZA DEL CAMPO, though. The shell-shaped square is the civic and social center of the city, theatre of that magical spectacle that every year inflames Siena – the Palio horse race.
After a tour of 3 hours with our guide, your driver will take you to San Gimignano. Enjoy a free stroll of 45min around this UNESCO Heritage site, before reaching one of the tallest Medieval towers where we will prepare an exclusive table for you to enjoy a stunning dinner on the top of the tower.
Final transfer after dinner back to Florence.
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Florence station. A fast train in 1st class will take you to Verona in a bit more than an hour. Here you will meet our driver and guide to marvel at the city’s highlights, such as the “Arena” ancient Roman amphitheater, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza Dante and the renowned Juliet’s house and balcony (tickets included), an iconic site for Romeo and Juliet’s lovers.
After a 3-hour long visit, head back to the station to catch the fast train to Venice (it will take a bit more than an hour). Once in Venice our private assistant and taxiboat will sail the canals to lead you to your hotel. After check in and some time to refresh, meet our guide to start an easy stroll around the city’s treasures lasting around 2 hours, combined with a fun aperitif in the local “Bacaro” bars with “Cichetti” tastings.
After breakfast, with our guide and private taxiboat you will reach the two islands of Murano and Burano (visit of 4 hours). The first one is famous for its glass making production, that our guide will reveal through entering in a local workshop, while the second one is renowned for its lace production and its colorful houses.
Once back in Venice, enjoy a 4-hour long guided tour of the heart of Venice. The journey through the wonders of Venice starts at St. Mark’s Square, the political, social and religious heart of the Maritime Republic. Breathe the power of this place while admiring the Bell Tower and the Clock Tower adorning the airy square before plunging into the discovery of the two main landmarks of Venice.
Breathe the power of the Great Council in the Doge’s Palace, with its stunning grand halls embellished by superb paintings by Titian, Veronese and Tintoretto. We will be able to grant a visit in private with the special opening of the “Piombi” and the “Pozzi”, the jails of the Palace, where famous people such as Casanova where incarcerated.
Visit then the magnificent Basilica (skip the line tickets including also the stunning Golden Altarpiece) dedicated to the Patron Saint of the city and be inspired by its glittering golden mosaics, a finest example of Byzantine architecture in Western Europe. Learn how this holy place was built and the difficulties it had to bear due to severe weather conditions.
At the end of the visits, time to relax at your hotel.
After breakfast, reach the dock to meet with everyone’s favourite Venetian experience, the gondola ride! Enjoy a ride of 30 minutes not only in the main areas of the city, but also in the side canals, where you will appreciate a more relaxed atmosphere.
Once back at the hotel, final transfer to the airport with private taxiboat and assistant.
