Talking about drinking…after the visit of Pompeii with private guide, we will open for you a local winery that is producing wine using the fermentation in amphora, the same one used by ancient Romans. Also some of the grapes used are the same ones that the Romans studied and imported to make their beloved “vinum”.
Do not worry, though, the quality of today’s wine is much better than the one of 2000 years ago!
