Colonized by the Greeks and Romans, Ponza preserves a series of Roman structures ranging from the port to the imperial villas, from swimming pools to fish ponds and the Bourbon intervention is also visible throughout the island.

• The Church of Saints Silverio and Domitilla , the most important monument of Ponza.
• The Ethnographic Museum of Ponza , born from the idea of Gerardo Mazzella. He was an enthusiast who has collected and exhibited in a cave a set of tools, photographs, letters, statues, furnishings and accessories that tell the history and life of Ponza as it was one time.
