they are located on Lake Maggiore and are a true earthly paradise where nature, culture and art blend perfectly. Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori are the three main ones, but there are also the Isolino di San Giovanni and the Scoglio della Malghera. the Palace was declared a Unesco heritage site in 1997, and represents one of the highest expressions of Italian Baroque . Not to be missed are the Giardini di Venaria Reale, which have returned to their ancient beauty after a very long restoration. the Royal Castle of Racconigi was for centuries the home of numerous nobles and royalty, especially linked to the Savoy family. Today, however, it is a museum of great interest . Inside there are richly decorated rooms: the Hall of Hercules, the Hall of Diana, the Chinese apartment, the Cabinet of Apollo, the Etruscan Cabinet and the Chapel of the Palace. Six areas, in 29 different municipalities, have been awarded for their history and for the indissoluble link between man and landscape. it is a lovely alpine center located in the Maritime Alps. In the colder months the ski slopes are the protagonists, with 80 kilometers of snow-covered trails and 17 ski lifts. Famous is the train of Wonders , a convoy that connects Limone to Cuneo and Ventimiglia, along the suggestive slopes and through wonderful views.
