Lake Nambino located near Madonna di Campiglio in Val Rendena belongs to one of those places in the mountains of Trentino that reach straight to the heart. This lake surrounded by nature offers truly suggestive walks the spectacle of a glacial lake, of a coulor in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment. Moreover, there is also a refuge ready to satisfy the needs of the most refined. Lake Nambino, 1728 meters above sea level , is part of the five lakes of the homonymous excursion, so loved by the most experienced walkers to do at least once in a lifetime.

The lake offers the opportunity to carry out numerous activities immersed in nature and breathing clean air, the main ones are:

• A walk or horseback ride through the paths and along the shores of the lake.
• Less chilly children can have fun and play in the small stream that feeds the lake, building stone dikes and special paths with water.
• A dip in the icy waters of the lake, recommended only for the most daring.
• Use the SUPs to sail its placid waters, to enjoy a different perspective, from the center of the lake.
• Meet some beautiful horses. In fact, about an hour’s walk from the lake there is also an area called “ busa dei cavai ”, where they are probably often taken to graze, and which use the lake to cool their muscles.
• Eat at the Nambino refuge where you can taste some of Trieste’s specialties with absolutely genuine ingredients. Very impressive is the view from the restaurant window that allows you to admire the mountains that are reflected in the waters of Lake Nambino.
• Have a picnic along the shores of the lake, which also reserves several beaches.
